satellite/cable receiver for downloading blu-ray quality movies/music. We all know sooner or later ABOUT everything will be DLC. Microsoft has talked about this in the past. Maybe Sony/Microsoft know more than we do about what the future holds. The only thing they need to do is speed up download times.

The difference is, the 360 owner will buy it on the spot and the PS3 owner will run and ask his mom if she can get it for him.
If Gears of War 2 comes out next year, it will sell probably 2 million copies if not more in the first week. Which is quite a bit.

There's so much emphasis on 1080p these days that people miss the point of what makes a game good. Some 1080p games don't even look and play as good as 720p. Glad it's turned out good.

Almost every game that comes out has the screenshots doctored in one way or another. I think it's all part of advertising in a way. Let's just wait for more game play to come out, if you want to cry about the graphics do it then.

So buying an HD package is not a necessity.

The media hyped it up so much that every Microsoft and Halo hater wanted to see the most perfect game ever made. Once it wasn't, the floodgates were open for everyone to get there digs in.

.. I was at Best Buy today buying an XM radio and noticed they didn't have any Pro or Elite 360's (had about 12 or so Arcade editions), but had at least (counting end stands and shelves) over a hundred PS3's! I've never seen that many PS3's in one place before.
My question for you is: Are you noticing the same thing where you live at? By the way, I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
